Training and placement activity for Final Year computer Engineering students on 13 August and 14 August 2019
Considering upcoming campus activities, Department of computer engineering conducted two days, expert sessions for final year computer engineering students on 13 and 14 August 2019.
A series of six technical topics was planned. Experts from computer department , Prof. Merwyn De`souza, Prof. Amrita Metri, Prof. Amey Kerkar and Prof. Vivek Jog conducted sessions on subjects like data structures, Object Oriented Programming, C language and Operating System respectively that would help students to crack the technical interview.
Mr. Joshua Salema, Alumnus from batch 2016 delivered a session on building successful career in the field of computer engineering keeping in sight the latest technologies in the market and its demand. This session gave best insight on latest software trends in the market.
Another session on pressure handling and last minute preparations was conducted by Prof. Gaurang Patkar. Effective methods to tackle the challenges faced by students in technical interview was discussed. All session are well received by students and was echoed to be the most useful from placement point of view.
