SUMMER COURSE 2019 – REPORT

The Training & Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized Summer Course 2019 for the participants of the age group 13 to 17 years from 13 May 2019 to 18 May 2019 at the institute. The sessions were conducted by Prof. Roseline Fernandes – TPO, Prof. Avila Naik – Assistant TPO, Prof. Natasha D’souza e Jaques – Assistant Professor, Prof. Flavia Leitao – Assistant Professor, Prof. Steefni Cruz – Assistant Professor, Ms. Grebian Alemao – Counselling Psychologist, and Ms. Maya Lin Noronha – Counselling Psychologist. The Summer Course covered sessions on Soft Skills, Public Speaking, Study Habits, Learn to Code, Social and Dining Etiquettes, Emotional Intelligence, Personal Development Plan, Math is Cool, Play with Robots, Aptitude Tests with Personal Counselling along with fun activities such as Hobbies, Games, Art Work, etc. The Director and the Principal addressed the participants and encouraged them to set and follow their goals. The participants penned down their experiences in the Daily Diary. The participants explored their soft skills, team building skills, public speaking skills, and leadership skills and self-development. All the participants were awarded certificates at the end of their course.
