Report of Webinars on Let’s Solve Your Problem
The Training and Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda-Goa organized webinars for students on topic Let’s Solve Your Problem. Webinars were held on 1st and 2nd September 2020 on Google meet. Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students had the Webinar on 1st September from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M and Civil Engineering and ETC engineering students had the Webinar on 2nd September from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M.
The resource person for the webinar was, Mr. D S Prashant , CEO, FiiRE. Also we were joined by Inseyeah Ali, Incubation Manager, FiiRE and Mr. Sudip Faldesai, Project Officer, Goa State Innovation Council.
The webinar was about a new initiative by FiiRE and Goa State Innovation Council called ‘Lets Solve Your Problem’ where innovative ideas had to be submitted by students to overcome day-to-day life problems faced due to ongoing pandemic. Mr. Sudip shared a video about the initiative and Mr. Prashant gave the overall picture of initiative and explained students how they can be a part of the initiative. They can share the problems or share their expertise in solving the problems posted by others.
Students asked a lot of questions on whom they can approach and how to join the initiative. Dr. Neena Panandikar, Principal of DBCE thanked the FiiRE team for reaching out to the students of DBCE. Dr. Shreyas Simu and Prof. Avila Naik thanked the FiiRE team and students for joining the webinar and having a good discussion.
