E-Cell Installation and MY STORY – Interaction with Alumni Entrepreneurs

The installation ceremony of E-Cell and MY STORY – Interaction with Alumni Entrepreneurs was virtually held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 via Google Meet.

Amey Tilve – Host and E-Cell Faculty Coordinator welcomed everyone for this event. During the E-Cell installation he introduced the E-Cell Faculty Coordinators and E-Cell Student Coordinators of respective departments.

Principal – Dr. Neena Panandikar shared her views about E-Cell and applauded the efforts taken by the team in organizing this event. She appreciated the students for showing interest in joining E-Cell. The speakers for the event were the Alumni Entrepreneurs – Mr. Shwetang Nadkarni, Alumnus, Civil, Batch 2019, Owner Treads and Risers; Mr. Deepak Kolur, Alumnus, Mechanical, Batch 2018, Founder-K2 Engineering & Techno-Wheelz Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Rakib Sarmadi, Alumnus, ETC, Batch 2016, Co-founder and Managing Partner Carbon-E; and Mr Anoop Kothambikar, Alumnus, Computer, Batch 2017, Founder SecDevOps and Principal SOC Analyst – Securesys Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

During the interaction with the host, the speakers gave an insight of their journey towards the startups and spoke about various facts associated. Each speaker had their own motivation and inspiration towards the startup but concluded on one note – Success does not come overnight and it requires hard work and determination thereby motivating the students to keep working hard and to never give up.

The event saw an overwhelming response of enthusiastic first year engineering students who interacted with the speakers at the end of the session.

The session concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Avila Naik, Convener, E-Cell who echoed the words of appreciation to the entire E-Cell Team for successful conduct of the event. The event was planned and executed by the E-Cell Team – Satyesh Kakodkar, Manjunath Narwate, Mathilda Colaco, Amey Tilve, Dr. Shreyas Simu and Avila Naik.
