SEMINAR ON CAREER GUIDANCE by SJ Innovation

The Training & Placement Cell of Don Bosco College of Engineering organized a Workshop on Career Guidance for the Undergraduate Computer Engineering students of Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBCE), Agnel Institute of Technology & Design (AITD) and Goa College of Engineering (GEC) on Thursday, 22 February 2018 at the institute. The sessions were conducted by Ms. Shahera Choudhury, COO; Mr. Shahed Islam, CEO and the team from SJ Innovation from New York and Goa. The team members included Project Managers, Software Developers, Tech Lead, Web Developers, QA Team Lead, and HR Team.

The team shared information about their company and the portfolio such as Web Application, Design, Mobile Application, Quality Assurance and the different frameworks with which they work. The sessions were interesting and the students gathered information on the scope and benefits of the Information Technology Sector. The company initiated this unique activity called the LAUNCH PAD first time in Goa for the engineering students. The focus of the seminar was on information on careers in software development, programming languages, quality assurance and the importance of soft skills and leadership at work.
